Our client is a global leader specializing in managed services and IT infrastructure products and they are seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to work on a full-time basis in Belfast.

Responsibilities:

• Review vendor invoices and record invoices in compliance with company policy.
• Continuously maintain accuracy in processing of Accounts Payable transactions, inclusive with accounting coding, timely payments, and reconciliations.
• Posting and reconciliation of bank transactions.
• Processing of credit card statements.
• Investigate and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with the month end close of accounts payable, accruals, and analysis of any variances.
• Assist with the coordination and gathering of documents to support auditor’s requests.
• Handle various other accounting duties as requested.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accounts payable role and previous knowledge of general accountancy. Experience working with MS Excel and other Accounting Software is desirable. Completion of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accountancy, or similar is desired. Must be willing to travel.
