Data Governance Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Data Management / Data Governance specialist to join our clients Data & AI practice where you will work as part of their Cloud Engineering group.

Requirements:

We are looking for people with a passion for data and who want to grow their career to complement our team as a Data Management Specialist, with skills including:

• Knowledge of Data Management and Data Governance concepts and frameworks
• Experience in, or knowledge of Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lineage tooling and principles
• Hands-on experience of using one or more of the following or equivalent toolsets: Informatica MDM, Informatica Product 360, SAP MDG, Informatica Axon, Azure Purview, Informatica IDQ
• Experience working in a client-facing/consulting environment to build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and acting as a trusted adviser
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to apply analytical and creative thought processes
• Proven success contributing in a multi-location team-oriented environment
• Proven ability in delivering high-quality deliverables to tight timescales
• Self-motivation and proactivity – you want to do the right thing for the client and grow as part of the process
• Keenness to learn and try new things

Desirable Skills:

• Experience of delivering Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lineage tools
• Experience being part of a Data Management implementation programme
• Knowledge of data specific regulations – ie. BCBS239, IFRS9, GDPR, HIPPA
• Experience with both short- and longer-term client projects – ranging from the more advisory and consulting to wider delivery projects within an agile environment
• Familiarity with the high-level aspects of software development lifecycles and infrastructure implementation
