Business Analyst (Life 400)
Dublin - fully remote
500-550 per day

Business Analyst required – (Life 400 systems and Claims, Governance and Regulations)

A good level of Life400 knowledge would an advantage. Looking for an experienced BA  working on large projects (preferably on an Agile basis), with a good product knowledge of pensions and preferably annuities.

Regular smaller tasks covering both new requirements and Production issues:

 

  1. Liaising with the relevant business areas to determine the business requirements linked to either a new ask, or the issues/defect associated with the current production system.
  2. Documenting the above in the form of a Business Requirements Spec.
  3. Support in the completion of High Level Estimates for both the BA work and also the other lifecycle delivery teams (Dev, QA etc).
  4. Liaising with the development team to determine a suitable system update or fix.
  5. Involvement in the completion of the required Functional Specification.
  6. Support to Dev and QA teams as they progress their deliveries, through to implementation.

 

Large Project Delivery 

 

  1. Working with the PM, Dev, QA and Business Leads to determine initial scope of the project.
  2. Support in the completion of High Level Estimates for both the BA work and also the other lifecycle delivery teams.
  3. Planning and scheduling of the various workshops required across the IT and Business Teams for the Requirements Gathering exercise.
  4. Take the lead role in the progression of the various workshops referred to in 3 above, to ensure the lower level detail of the various business requirements is obtained.
  5. Document the detail obtained in 4 above, via the various Business Requirement Specs.
  6. Support in the completion of the required Functional and Technical Specs, arising from 5 above.
  7. Support to the Dev, QA and UAT teams as they progress through the various deliverables.
  8. Support on any Implementation tasks.
