Application Engineering Lead

Your role and responsibilities:

• Work on multiple client-orientated projects within an Agile or Waterfall development environment.
• Shape leading solution designs and drive implementation approaches for successful delivery of great technology solutions to business problems with our clients.
• Work on end-to-end solutions, from understanding business requirements, defining design patterns, to driving the end-state delivery and support using leading development and optimisation practices.

• Broad and deep knowledge of technology, an ability to understand how our client could realise value using it in creative ways and is able to tell a great story about it
• Strong teaming aptitude, someone who can coach and mentor team members to achieve their best and who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a client-based and multi-vendor environment.
• Demonstrated experience driving technical workshops with technology and business clients to provide value adding solutions.
• Experience of leading the design, development, and delivery of a full-stack solution – you are a technology leader in one or more of these capabilities: Software Engineering, Architecture, Cloud Engineering, UIX/XR, Rapid Prototyping, Applied AI/ML.

• Experience applying good development practices ensuring code quality, security, performance, resilience, recoverability and operability in one or more technology stacks.
• Engagement-based consulting experience or equivalent industry experience
• Understanding how to build fault tolerant, performant systems
• Experience building prototypes and/or solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Breaking technical epics or stories into detailed technical specifications, tasks and providing workload estimation
• Hands on design and engineering experience across a wide range of technologies; setting up frameworks, complex integration, troubleshooting and applying a cloud first mindset
• Experience in business development and sales process
• Industry-relevant certification
