NetSuite Engineer Contractor - 12 months

Our client an industry-leading fleet vehicle and field service management SaaS provider, is looking for a NetSuite Software Engineer to join their software development team in Dublin as a contractor.

You will be joining a cross-functional group of engineers, working on a field service management platform to the next level. You will be building their next generation of field service NetSuite applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing SuiteApps in NetSuite, including strong SuiteScript/Javascript skills.

Our client is rapidly growing and increasing the depth, breadth, and flexibility of our platform to deliver actionable insights and exceptional value to our customers. Here you will assist the team in implementing major new features in the existing App that work in unison with the field service native web application and native mobile applications. You will also bring your industry experience in NetSuite to assist the team in applying best practices in NetSuite development.

Their field service management solution is a mobile-first, fully-integrated platform with deep integrations to ERPs such as NetSuite, with (what we consider) very exciting technologies in AI/ML-driven automated scheduling. They are currently building out the platform to join together with a fleet vehicle solution, natively solving complex Fleet & Field customer problems and providing them with unique solutions. 

Required:

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of implementation inside SuiteApps and hands-on production experience
• At least 5+ years’ experience in web software engineering and 3+ years’ experience developing SuiteApps.
• Excellent JavaScript and SuiteScript skills.
• Experience working with SuiteApps which sync data to and from a separate platform is a must. Full understanding of NetSuite RESTful APIs. A deep understanding of how to model data from other systems inside the SuiteApp forms a key part of this role.
• Proven track-record in building SuiteApps that are flexible enough for a variety of customers and use-cases, rather than simple bespoke, customer-specific solutions.
• Experience working with sales orders, projects & inventory inside NetSuite a big plus.
• Experience working in cloud-computing environments such as AWS and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka is a plus.
• Experience working in mobile-enabled platforms another big plus.
