Contract role - based in Benelux area - for a Senior Data Management Analyst role. Excellent Daily Rate- open to market rate and above.  Industry is insurance.

Within this role you’ll be involved in global projects where data management will be a crucial element of success while collaborating across multiple teams involving data reference information.

Using your own initiative and ambition, you achieve excellent results. You will design and implement (large scale) onboarding of local business units while discussing with the local business units on standardizing their operational processes. You will analyze business requirements, test and implement new asset types. Identify opportunities for data management improvements. Development and documenting technical requirements and business processes for successful implementations. Moving forward with standard data model implementation in various Bus.

A successful candidate will be an analyst who communicates and collaborates effectively, taking ownership and accountability for operational stability, issues, and ongoing improvements in their focus areas. They will demonstrate a successful track record in a fast-paced production role, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to data-driven process improvements over time. The ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders - front office customers, project managers, business analysts, and technologists.

Your Responsibilities

  • You participate in assessments of existing implementations and advise on structural improvements in performance, usability and processes. Promote a data-driven culture across the organization and ensure the right people are aware of data governance usage. You enjoy exchanging ideas with colleagues from other departments at Insurance Investment Operations and within the entire Group
  • Support automation and enhancements to gain efficiencies in daily execution, test functionality and performance before implementation. Proactively review and identify requirements with the team
  • Design, develop & implement new requirements and refine existing processes to allow fast and easy BAU with minimum manual efforts for operational users
  • Define and organize the implementation of data within multiple projects in collaborations with the data stakeholders. Coordinate and ensure the governance of the data attributes within the Insurance Investment area. Manage operational projects with high business content and ensure communication to the various stakeholders. Plan the interdependencies between projects and ensure reasonable timelines are maintained on various projects and process improvements
  • Create detailed and up-to-date documentation
Who You Are
  • You have an analytical mind and love diving into data. You’re service-minded and enjoy interacting with other professionals. You have proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve goals and objectives. Team player, with at least three years of relevant experience in optimizing financial instrument data processes at an asset management company or a comparable financial services company
  • Excellent stakeholder management, in- and outside of the team, to enable change with a focus on controlled onboarding of changes in the daily operations. Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at different levels of the organization and to lead discussions in small and more significant groups. Fluent in English, both written and verbally
  • You’re curious and love finding missing pieces. You want to be challenged daily, so you’re constantly growing. You have the ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
  • Excellent command using MS Excel is a prerequisite, and experience using Power BI and SQL is a plus. Good understanding of the impacted attributes of financial instruments from a data perspective
