Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing ed-tech company with a mission to create equality in education worldwide? Our client, an innovative Spanish company, is looking for a Product Engineer to join one of their agile squads within their engineering organization.

As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving the scalability and performance of their product, building and consuming REST APIs, planning user stories, mentoring and coaching other peers, debugging, and managing testing and bug fixes. You will have interaction with product owners, developers, and testers, working in an agile environment with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of professional experience in delivering a working product within the start-ups landscape and developing complex systems. They should be passionate about contributing to deliver a great product, care about best practices for code quality, automation, and testing, and have a general understanding of web development. Some preferred skills include proficient JavaScript skills, Angular framework knowledge, exposure to non-relational databases, experience building responsive websites, and knowledge about microservices.
