Job Title: Specialist CAD Technician
Location: Little Island, Co. Cork (Hybrid work model)
Contract: 12 months daily rate
Daily rate: Up to €600, depending on experience

Our client is looking for an experienced Specialist CAD Technician to join their Engineering and Major Projects team. The role is on a 12-month daily rate contract, and is an opportunity to join an industry leading company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technician services on a range of civil & structural engineering projects
• Work with an engineering team in proactive way to deliver high quality projects to clients satisfaction
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Architects and Quantity Surveyors as required
• Produce high quality drawings and 3D models for inclusion in planning submissions, civil tender enquiries and civil construction packages

You:

• Minimum of 3-5 years post qualification experience with a consultancy office
• Civil Engineering Technician Level 7 qualification or higher from a recognised 3rd level institution
• Competence in Reinforced Concrete (RC) detailing and scheduling
• High level of competence in Revit and AutoCAD for production of general arrangement Concrete, Steel, Masonry Structures and Drainage Layouts.
• Experience in the use of Civil 3D (Desirable)
• Experience in the use of Cads RC for RC detailing and scheduling (Desirable)
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
