Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer
Location: Galway (onsite)
Salary: 55-75k, depending on experience

Our client is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer with experience in the electronics industry to join their dynamic team.
They are seeking a skilled professional with a passion for the electronics industry and a track record of delivering exceptional results.
You will play a vital role in their exciting projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop multi-layer PCB layouts for high-performance computer systems, including CPU, memory, power circuits, and IOs.
• Transform block diagrams into schematic layouts for state-of-the-art high-speed and high-power computer hardware.
• Review and optimize PCB layouts for high-speed signals, power supply design, and EMC performance.
• Conduct design calculations.
• Perform circuit simulations to ensure optimal design performance.
• Generate hardware design requirements, leveraging DOORS experience as an advantage.
• Support the testing and validation of prototypes, covering EMI/RFI, electrical, environmental, and ESD aspects.
• Lead hardware DFMEA and DFM&T activities.
• Effectively communicate with customers and suppliers regarding hardware-related topics.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify and schedule hardware development tasks, while creating timing plans.

You:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent analysis skills in trouble-shooting electronic module failures
• 5+ years relevant experience in electronic design.
• Experience with High Speed Design
• Experience with Microcontroller, SoC and DDR/SDRAM Schematic design
• Experience with SMPS Design
