Staff Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a talented Staff Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer for our client, a product company based in Dublin.

About the role:
You will be responsible for automated management of our cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on AWS and Terraform expertise. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and lead cross-team projects, while staying ahead of industry advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain automated management of cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS and Terraform.
• Handle container orchestration, primarily with ECS and Kubernetes knowledge considered a bonus.
• Utilize serverless computing, particularly Lambda, to optimize system performance.
• Manage REST API operations, with a preference for API Gateway expertise.
• Ensure smooth database operations, including scaling, maintenance, and remediation, with a basic understanding of SQL.
• Implement event streaming and message bus solutions, with a focus on Kafka.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, with Python

• Extensive experience and expertise in AWS and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration, particularly ECS, and familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in serverless computing, specifically Lambda.
• Demonstrated ability to manage REST API operations, with experience using API Gateway.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, with Python preferred.

• Salary up to €120K base plus benefits
• Half days on Fridays!!!
