Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java skills to join our clients Asset Management Tech Team. Ideal for adaptable tech-savvy individuals skilled in data and design, looking for a dynamic, less constrained role focusing on event-driven processing and analytics. Prior experience in investment management is a plus! Bonus, family healthcare, excellent pension scheme and regular professional on offer. 

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience of enterprise development
• Strong background with object orientated programming in Java
• Knowledge in RDBMS and SQL skills
• Strong experience in Object Oriented Programming in Java and willing to work in Python
• Cloud computing concepts (AWS or other) and working experience
• You are familiar with taking software through its lifecycle, familiar with Agile, using CI/CD from concept to build to deployment using tools like Git/Stash, Jenkins, etc

The nice to haves:

• Knowledge in Web Scraping, extracting text from HTML, PDF, Word, etc.
• Knowledge in RDBMS, SQL, skills, ODBC, and ODP.Net
• Knowledge in leveraging many of the following technologies including C#, .Net, JavaScript, VBA TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, Angular JS and Angular 4.0, JQuery, React, Node.js
