Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Full-time on-site in Broughton, North Wales - Seeking candidates in the North West who can commute. Parking is available for drivers, and shuttle buses are provided for public transport users.
Duration: 3-6 months, potential for longer
Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. If you are a self-driven professional with expertise in manufacturing processes, project management, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your experience in manufacturing engineering, open to various industry sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
- Work in a production line environment with a strong understanding of tools and jigs.
- Contribute to process engineering, including the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Manage projects and maintain a risk management log to ensure project success.
- Exhibit strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Implement Lean manufacturing techniques and showcase experience in driving continuous improvement projects (certification is a plus).
You:
- Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, regardless of industry sector.
- Proficiency in tools and jigs.
- Demonstrable process engineering experience.
- SOP creation skills.
- Project and risk management expertise.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Quality Management, including DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing techniques and a track record of continuous improvement projects (certification is advantageous).
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
