Senior Azure Platform Engineer – Galway

We are looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer in Galway to join a well-established and dynamic team with our client a leader in the fintech industry.

About the role:
You will join the Cloud Platform Engineering Group within Enterprise Infrastructure for an exciting blend of Operations Excellence and Development Expertise.

The Expertise You Have 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure Subscriptions, resource groups and resources
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring and management tools (AWX/Ansible, Datadog, Catchpoint, Graphana, etc.) and building automation to leverage them
• Experience using CI/CD Tools (primarily Jenkins) and the backend code executed by it
• Experience with building and operating highly resilient platforms in Azure/AWS Cloud environments
• Experience in Cloud development (Azure or AWS) using Python, Shell scripting, PowerShell etc., and cloud migration skills a plus

• Experience managing systems using infrastructure as code tools (AWX/Ansible, Terraform, Rundeck)
• Solid understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to automate in a programming language like Python, Shell Script, or PowerShell
• Experience building and managing ARM, Bicep, and Terraform Artifacts
• Experience with Hands-on Kubernetes skills and knowledge a plus.
• Proficient communication skills with an ability to reach both technical and non-technical audiences
