Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced KX/KDB Developer to join our clients talented team. As a KX/KDB Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data analytics solutions using KX and KDB technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data analytics solutions using KX and KDB technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to define requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing performance using KX and KDB best practices and techniques.
  • Develop data models, schemas, and queries to support various analytical and reporting requirements. Implement real-time data streaming, processing, and analytics solutions using KX and KDB technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures in KX and KDB environments. Stay updated on emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in KX and KDB technologies, and apply relevant insights to enhance our products and solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a KX/KDB Developer or similar role, with hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics solutions using KX and KDB technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Q, SQL, or Python, with experience working in Unix/Linux environments. Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with real-time data processing, streaming, and analytics technologies (e.g., Kafka, Apache Flink).
  • Familiarity with financial markets, trading systems, and quantitative analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
