Our client is widely adopted throughout the financial services industry, and following the launch of in-house Insights, the Cloud-First, Real-time Streaming Analytics Platform, they are poised for accelerated growth across high-tech manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, utilities, and telecommunications.

 

Role Overview:

As a PM - Competitive Intelligence, you will help to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform products including our vector database (KDB.AI) and real-time analytics (Insights) products. You will work closely with engineering, UX design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to understand our competitive landscape, competitive market trends and competitive products. You will be the subject matter expert for competition and will ensure our feature PM have the best information when developing our business plans and roadmaps.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform, analytics, and AI products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Develop market research, competitive analysis, user feedback, and data analysis to identify opportunities for competitive understanding.
  • Support Product Marketing and Field Enablement efforts to ensure strong organization understanding of the market, our position, and our unique differentiation against our competitors.
  • Write clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and assist in prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.
  • Measure and report on product performance, user adoption, feedback, and satisfaction.
  • Evangelize our products internally and externally through demos, webinars, blogs, white papers, etc.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader in the relevant communities by sharing your insights and expertise on a regular basis.

 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a product manager, competitive intelligence analyst or manager working on enterprise B2B software, preferably in an as-a-service environment.
  • A BS degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in supporting go to market activities, market research or competitive research.
  • A strong technical background and ability to communicate effectively with engineers and architects.
  • A customer-centric mindset and a passion for solving complex problems with elegant solutions.
  • A data-driven approach to decision making and product development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies
