We are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing tech start-up based in Dublin, specializing in a location-based project management platform designed to improve productivity and accountability. The platform enhances resource management on-site, ensuring high security, scalability, and mission-critical service delivery.

As the CTO you will have a successful track record in scaling up tech start-ups, a deep understanding of software architecture, and a passion for innovation. You will be responsible for leading our engineering team, driving product development, and shaping our technology strategy. Responsibilities:

  • Lead our engineering team and oversee all aspects of product development
  • Define and execute our technology strategy, with a focus on scalability and innovation
  • Conduct gap analysis on existing processes and systems, and implement improvements as needed
  • Manage our software development team, including remote teams in Pakistan and local teams in Dublin
  • Work closely with the founders to drive business growth and achieve our strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, and identify opportunities for innovation


Requirements:

  • Irish residency is a must.
  • Proven track record in scaling up tech start-ups, preferably in a CTO or senior leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, with hands-on experience in coding and development.
  • Experience with tech stacks, including .Net, C#, Python, C/C++, Java, and high-scale distributed system design/architecture.
  • Experience as an engineering manager or a technical lead with a passion for coaching and mentoring others.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn fast and self-motivated.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change quickly.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
