With over four years of recruitment experience, she has built a strong track record – with particular expertise in placing technology-focused PR and communications talent within specialist communications agencies.
Her approach is people-first and relationship-driven, combining genuine industry insight with a clear understanding of both client needs and candidate goals. She has recruited across a range of sectors including PR & Communications, hospitality, education, healthcare, and administration.
Originally from Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Barbara relocated to New York four years ago, bringing with her a background as a secondary school teacher – an experience that continues to shape how she connects with and understands people. She holds a B.Ed. in Irish and RE from MIC Thurles and a B.Sc. in PE and Sports Science from London Metropolitan University.
Outside of work, Barbara loves to travel. She is also a passionate sports enthusiast and an active Ladies Gaelic footballer and currently serves as Secretary on the New York Ladies County Board.
