Key Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer on our client's team, you will:

  • Take ownership of QA deliverables, from project requirements to production release.
  • Collaborate closely with our client's product management and development teams to gain a deep understanding of project objectives and clarify requirements.
  • Create, review, and execute comprehensive test cases, whether manually or with the use of automation tools.
  • Analyze test results and manage defects through resolution.
  • Thrive in an Agile environment, utilizing tools like JIRA and Test Rail, and actively participating in scrum events.
  • Maintain and expand documentation to establish a scalable testing environment.
  • Document, track, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Acquire in-depth product knowledge across various applications.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives identified by the QA team.

Essential Requirements:

To excel in this role with our client's team, you must possess:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance using both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland (European Union citizenship or work visa).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • A thorough understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in writing test cases for multi-tier systems, including databases, app servers, web, and mobile apps (iOS & Android).
  • Agile environment experience, with the ability to balance speed and agility with quality and compliance.
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in Unix, SQL, and Postman.
  • Familiarity with browser DevTools.
  • A determination to learn and the courage to ask questions to become an expert quickly.
  • Ability to work independently within a self-directed team.

Certifications such as ISTQB or other software testing certifications are a plus.

Desirable:

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of the gaming and sports betting industry.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Exposure to basic PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
